Q Evaluate Step 1: Review and address the feedback you received on your M3 Literature Review draft Be sure you address all instructor feedback and take the initiative to communicate with your instructor if you need any clarifications. • Remember the standard for receiving full points on your final Literature Review is greater than on the draft! Step 2: Review the Literature Review requirements again The final submission of your literature review should reflect the following: • At least 6-10 diverse scholarly sources o At least one scholarly source must address your topic from a biopsychological perspective o At least one scholarly source must address your topic from a lifespan or developmental psychology perspective o The majority of your sources should be current sources (within the last 5 years) • An introduction • A focus on analysis and synthesis rather than summary or description of article content. o What are the key themes or topics of the research studies you have reviewed? • A 1-2 paragraph discussion of the ethical dilemmas and social responsibilities inherent in your social justice issue o Note: this discussion of ethics need not be by theme/topic like the example provided in Step 2. • A summary o Summarize the purpose of your research and the theories used to examine the social justice issue. o In your own words, what are the most prominent research and findings related to your topic? o Based on your research what are your proposed strategies for reducing or eliminating your social justice issue? o If you have any questions after completing your research, you can also list those in your summary. • APA formatting Depending on the number of scholarly sources used, your literature review should be approximately 2,000-2,500 words, and should not exceed 3,000 words. (Word counts exclude title pages, headers, and reference list.) REMINDER: your literature review should NOT include any discussion of the methodologies used in the studies you review. Step 3: Submit your Final Literature Review Compose your work using a word processor (or other software as appropriate) and save it frequently to your computer. Be sure to check your work and correct any spelling or grammatical errors before you upload it. Your Literature Review rough draft should be submitted as a Word document (.doc, .docx, or .rtf) or PDF. Submit your assignment to the Turnitin dropbox below. DO NOT submit your assignment directly to Turnitin.com. See submission guidance below for additional details. This assignment is due by 11:59 pm ET on Sunday. Evaluation The LAPSY 498 Literature Review rubric explains how you will be graded. • Unlike the draft assignment, where "proficient" on any rubric criteria was sufficient to earn full points, your final work will need to be "exemplary".
